SITE ASSESSMENT
How safe is your business or facility from terrorist or criminal attack? The terrorist attacks on US soil on September 11, 2001 established without doubt that America has enemies and that they are creative, smart, determined and motivated.
Those attacks also established how wide-open America and the world is to such attacks. The security response since 09-11-01 has been extraordinary. We are making progress, but most facilities and businesses in the country are still classified as "soft targets".
What can you do to reduce the likelihood that you, your employees or your business will become a target of terrorist or criminal acts?
Awareness is the first step. Once you are aware of the problems you can move to fix them.
Training is the second step. Preparing employees and security personnel to be good observers and to react immediately and properly when they perceive a threat is a crucial component of turning a "soft target" into a "hard target".
Knowledge is power. Years of experience in conducting assessments for US Embassies, NASA, the United Nations, The European Union and other facilities and businesses around the globe have prepared STSI to assist you in reducing your risk of attack anywhere in the world. STSI does this by:
(1) Performing an assessment of your entire operation through a comprehensive and confidential site survey that will clarify where threats are likely to come from and what you can do to deter them.
(2) Providing employee training that will turn your staff into trained observers and skilled First Line Responders capable of dealing with threats confidently and professionally.
Many companies and agencies may believe they currently have a good first line responder program in place. How do you know? Has your program been professionally evaluated? Has it been tested? The face of terrorism and crime is changing constantly. Every time industry raises a barrier to reduce exposure, the bad guys start looking for a way to defeat your efforts. Having your operation formally evaluated provides peace of mind and confidence that you have done everything possible to put yourself at the top of the curve in terms of security.
Prices are affordable, flexible, and vary from site to site, depending upon the time required. Contact Michael Jaquish at STSI for more information

In 1988, Michael left Law Enforcement and entered the private security industry, first as a supervisor for a national strike force program run by The Wackenhut Corporation (TWC), and later as an administrator for TWC's US Embassy and NASA's space shuttle abort landing site security contracts in West Africa. He was deployed to Liberia, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Senegal and Morocco. By the time he returned to the United States in 1996 he was serving as the West African Regional Manager for US Embassy operations and was a veteran of three African civil wars and had developed a network of security and intelligence operations. |
